Our Fees

Initial and Diagnostic Assessment Fees

  • Initial Home or School Assessment – £950. 
    • We will advise if face-to-face is required when booking the assessment.
    • This includes all liaison, travel (within North Yorkshire), assessment and report writing.
  • Initial online assessment for most conditions – £740. 
    • We will advise if online is possible when booking the assessment.
    • This includes all liaison, assessment and report writing.
  • ADHD Assessment – £1830 
    • This includes:-
      • The Assessment.
      • Travel and school visits (within North Yorkshire)
      • Diagnostic questionnaires and review.
      • Physical Health Review
      • The Report.
      • Telehealth feedback appointment including next steps discussion (including adaptations for school).
  • ADHD Medical Treatment Initiation – £190 + Travel.
    • Minimum 1 month after diagnosis 
    • For a physical assessment (including height, weight and BP) and discussion about medication options, impact, side effects and consent for treatment.
  • ADHD Medical Treatment Initiation when ADHD diagnosis is from another practice – £950 (Travel included within North Yorkshire) 
    • It Must be from a NICE-compliant high-quality ADHD report.
    • For initial assessment to review symptoms and needs, physical health review and physical examination (including height, weight and BP).
  • ADHD Medication Reviews are compulsory and must be every 1-2 Weeks initially – £190 (+ Travel)
    • This must initially be Face to Face.
    • There will be at least 4 of these before we can be sure there are no problems.

Treatment Fees

  • Treatment and reviews are charged at £190 per hour (or part thereof).
    • Most treatment and review sessions are 1 hour.
  • Consultation, liaison and professional meetings are charged at £200 per hour.
  • Professional Reports are charged at £150.
  • Private prescriptions and requests for letters are charged at £11 per item requested.
  • Travel costs are £2.80 per mile if a home or school visit is requested or required. 

Payment Methods

Bank transfer (BACS). is the preferred method of payment.

Details will be provided within the invoice. We are unable to take card payments at this time.

The reference used for all payments made to the Amber Tree will need to be your unique patient number.

Cancellations

Fees are normally due at the time of booking confirmation via BAC’s.

Please provide at least 3 working days (72 hours) notice for cancellations. Cancellations after this time will be charged the full appointment fee.

Private Medical Insurance

Please note that we do not take payments directly from private insurance providers.

Appointments are required to be paid for by you in advance and we will provide a receipt which you can give to your insurance company to reimburse your fees. Please check with your insurer prior to booking that they will reimburse your fees.
